Henderson is also highly respected as a community leader in Denver, Colorado. She has been recognized for her work in bringing people together for healing in times of tragedy and mobilizing people to action in times of injustice. Amanda is the Director of the Institute for Religion, Politics, and Culture at Iliff School of Theology.
